All of the little kids did such a great job during the photo session but by the end, Christian decided he was hungry and tired.

Olsen Cousins Pictures 2010

At the beginning of November, we got all of the Olsen grandchildren together to get their pictures taken. The pictures were taken by Kate Jeppson who did such a great job of capturing adorable photographs of ten spirited children.

Here are the five beautiful little girls.

The three three-year-olds. They are the best of friends!

Christian was very excited when it was time to play in the leaves.

He was a lot more interested in the tiny leaf on his hand than in getting his picture taken.

It's crazy to think that he is not the baby anymore. Since the last cousins pictures last December, we have had two more Olsen cousins born, Katharine and James.

Christian is now my sweet little toddler!

And here is my sweet little Ava!

One Year Old (+ a month)

We recently had Christian's 1-year portraits taken at DMC Studios.

In the spirit of full disclosure, we were a little slow to schedule them. So by the time the pictures were taken (a week ago today), Christian was already 13 months old. Hopefully this will not offend anyone's senses.

As you can see, Christian was extremely amenable to having his pictures taken. It helped that he thought the photographer's camera looked really fun. However, it didn't help that on several occasions he got precariously close to lunging to try and grab it.

He even allowed us to put this hat on his head for a few pictures.

While Christian was changing into another outfit, Ava stepped in front of the lens for a few pictures.

And of course we had to get some pictures of our two cute little kids together (never an easy task).

Christian was excited to have the photographer all to himself again (or maybe he was just excited to have another shot at getting his little hands on her camera).

Then he decided to get a little serious on us...

...but that didn't last for long once he saw this way cool armchair. (Incidentally, Ava has a pink armchair like this at home, of which Christian is extremely jealous).

And then Christian decided he was done with pictures and ready to go home.

We are so pleased with how well these pictures turned out, but sad to see our little guy growing up so quickly.

Christian's 6-Month Pictures - Part 2

We had so much fun getting Christian's six-month pictures taken. After the pictures in his blessing outfit, we dressed Christian in this darling Easter outfit from Granny and Freddy O. He also had his favorite bunny blanket.

A couple of weeks ago we took Christian to get his 6-month pictures taken. When we arrived at the studio, we found out that they were running about an hour behind. We were really worried that Christian would be cranky by the time they were ready to take his pictures since it would be his nap time. However, he ended up doing great!
